There's a 6 song EP-type-thing for free download here from Grey Hairs. Couple of our own (including the song off the split 7" with Part Chimp), couple of Roky Erickson & The Aliens covers, a Black Flag cover and a remix. You might like it, it's free, etc...

Some of my favourite recordings have been made in that studio; it's weird how much the sound of the room influences the recording, it almost sounds like it could have been recorded minutes after Dave Grohl finished recording Foo Fighters. The drums, in particular, sound killer. I love the way the drums cut out and the rest of the instruments go on at the end.

Thanks man!

That room sounded killer pretty much as soon as our drummer started playing. Definitely one of the best live rooms I've recorded in (Studio B would be my other favorite). Hell, we probably could have just put a stereo pair of mics in there and called it good!

Not a real band, just me fucking around at home. Each instrument recorded separately and all played by me. 6 minutes and 9 seconds of noisecore: https://blxckonion.bandcamp.com/track/kois-noir

This is amazing. It doesn't sound like something you could do one track at a time. Great work.
I design and build stuff for musicians at Dusky Electronics.
I play guitar in Woodvamp.

The last album from my old band Thirty Silver. We put it out and then split two days later.

Made this last night. Wandering around a symmetrical scale/chord sequence I've been thinking a lot about lately.

It's a single take: (digital, fake) piano -> delay -> reverb -> resonant low pass filter -> wave shaper.

So. A few years back, Will, a bartender at Earl's Juke Joint asked me if I would be happy giving him some guitar lessons after hearing me play in the house band. I said "Pffff...hey sure!", on the understanding that he understands that I do not know what I am doing. Will remained undeterred, and so we have been meeting up once a week or so since then. Insofar as technique is concerned, I have now run out of things to show him. Will has worked his arse off, and he knows all of my tricks, so now we are jamming. Here are some recordings of our very first run together, from this last Friday morning. They are all first takes of totally unrehearsed free improvisations, recorded on my iphone in my sunroom on an open windowsill, complete with passing traffic. Will plays first guitar on all of these. They are his ideas.

Band's album is out. Live tracks recorded over the last while in the studio + a song recorded in my oversized bathroom.

Dead Halos got together about a week ago and decided to record a cover of "You Wreck Me" by Tom Petty as a tribute of sorts. I just uploaded it to Bandcamp today. You can listen to it here. Hope you enjoy it.

Here's my virtual/long distance band that imploded. 100+ songs in just under a year, 40-ish really good keepers. Maybe ~6 fully done, then it went tits up.....fucking wasted potential.

Every now and then I'm going to post the half-finished/finished stuff anyways.
