A Benefit Rock Show

Postby Bradley R. Weissenberger on Fri Sep 05, 2003 2:36 pm

Dear All,

There will be a big rock show at Abbey Pub on Monday September 8. Silkworm, Loraxx, Dead Electric and .22, which is my band, will each play their rock.

The show is a benefit for a young man going through tough times, so we hope that you can be there. Every penny raised by this show will go to him.

Despite the dismal circumstances surrounding the show, the night will be great fun. Here's why:

* Each band is great and worth the price of admission alone. There should be some entertaining surprises from the bands as well.
* There will be acoustic music courtesy of Andrea Bunch and Lee Gutkowski in the pub prior to the show -- a real treat.
* There will be a raffle with some great stuff being given away, including a signed Shellac record.
* You can eat your dinner at the outstanding Abbey pub. Perhaps you will enjoy a refreshing beverage there as well.
* Most importantly, you will show your support for another person, and show your support to those people who support him.

Please come to have fun, raise spirits, and celebrate one another's company. Make it a night to remember, friends.

À votre santé,

Will this show be 18 and over, or 21 and over? I think I may be the only person on these forums who has to worry about that.
