Electro-Shock For President at 33 RPM. I don't know how I've never done this, but I highly recommend it.

That new MY DISCO record, which I'm amazed isn't making more of a splash.

Isn't Mayo Thompson on this? I know all the other famous guest stars (Andy Partridge, Lene Lovich), I swear I hear Mayo Thompson, unless it's Snakefinger...

New My Disco. I kind of love how different every album is from each other, but on the other hand I also misss old My Disco.

They’re playing this weekend. I’m going along with the plan of viewing it as a piece of performance art as opposed to seeing a band play a live performance.

Time Won't Let Me

In 1972, my grandma gave my cousin and me money to buy a record. I bought "Ride Captain Ride" by Blues Image. My cousin bought Precious & Few by Climax. And played it over and over. And over and over. Her record player was very sad, and needed new caps, it hummed like a son of a bitch in her attic while we stacked 45's and played in her backyard..

I stand by my 10 year old kid Blues Image purchase.

This track from the "Forge Your Own Chains: Heavy Psychedelic Ballads and Dirges 1968-1974" comp. Revisiting the whole thing....damn good.
