Upcoming London Shows

Postby h8 m0dems on Wed Jul 09, 2008 6:49 am

sorry for doing this but things get lost in the upcoming show thread and I want a specific london one. I need to find some good shows to go to damn it!

I'll start off.

This friday (July 11th) at the Buffalo Bar, Islington
Loose Lips Sink Ships night

SCUL HAZZARDs (jagged noise rock, my band) - www.myspace.com/sculhazzards
Tenebrous Liar (sludgy slow-core noise ballads) - www.myspace.com/tenebrousliar
Duke Garwood (solo dude) - www.myspace.com/dukegarwood
Shane Gilliver (another solo dude, maybe with backing band - he just asked to borrow our bass amp).

from 8:30, I think we're 2nd

Yeah, but you should at least mention the Flirtini and asymmetric haircut you get thrown in for that price.

Also, on Halloween there may be a party-gig starting at about midnight so anyone going to the ATP Shellac show can get along afterwards, just trying to work it out now and whether it's possible but it'll maybe be Lords & Part Chimp.

thinking about it...

meanwhile if anyone gets the chance to see duke garwood - do it!

that shit fully blew my mind. it was like this fucked up jazzy blues stuff but really authentic and uncontrived. noisy too. the tracks he has up on his Mspace profile aren't a good indication of what he's like live.
