Holy Sons set was great, would have been cool to see the full band, but so it goes... I really enjoyed Lilacs too, wasn't sure how it would translate live but it was a lot of fun. I could quite happily watch Emil play drums for a very long time. Watter was good but not quite as exciting for me, they had a few really great moments though!

Sorry I didn't get in touch beforehand... kinda found myself in London without a computer at the weekend, was all a little chaotic!

Also what's the deal with Birthdays and its 10pm curfew? That was kinda lame, but I did manage to disappear across town and catch the last song at a friend's gig in Brixton!

A little late, but any upcoming PRF shows tomorrow? Last night in London, my hotel is near Hyde Park and if the Tube strike isn't happening I'd love to see a proper show here.

Traffic went mental in west london so we literally arrived just as Watter had started playing. Miffed I missed the others. I wouldn't describe Watter as 'exciting' either but definitely enjoyable. And I'm always going to be happy to watch Britt Walford play drums for 45 minutes. Todd Cook is always a fucking joy as well - really pleased they added him to the live line-up. Awesome bass player and excellent human.

I think the 10pm curfew is because they run a late-night club-night down in the basement. It does feel brutally early to finish but it did mean we got to hang out for a while after the show and not have to rush home. It's not my favourite venue - you can't see a fucking thing unless you get within a metre of the stage!

Cross post from the UK gigs thread, my band Alnegator is playing with FM Simmo's band Cantaloupe at The Star of Kings on Saturday.

Facebook thingy HERE!

We're also doing Cambridge on Friday and Oxford on Sunday, and there's some new Alnegator stuff in the bandcamp link down there somewhere! V

Was Alnegator the band you played in at the Sebright Arms? That was pretty cool.

I am sorry I cannot come to this. Tommy, your band only seems to play on nights when I have tickets to something else. Last time, Kogumaza/Hey Colossus, this time Liturgy. Next time will probably be a Marillion/Robin Thicke/Michael McIntyre triple header.

Ah, no trubs! Last time was in Oxford anyway and this is only our second gig- there'll be plenty more I'm sure. Though the Travelling Wilburys will probably reform, performing with holographic Harrison and optical Orbison whenever we want to play. The digital skiffle bastards.
