haha these guys...

One time I was working in a law firm, & this disgusting guy who was a "fixer" (there was a special floor for the fixers) pulled me aside & told me & a friend (Joe Little of Precious Wax Drippings, in fact) how he had seen Huey Lewis blow the meanest blooze harmonica he'd ever heard.

Joe had the best response: "No way!"

Huey Lewis & the News also backed up Elvis Costello on his first album. No blooze harmonica detected.

He played blooze harmonica on some thin Lizzy jams. I believe he's credited as "Blusey Huey Lewis".

Interesting nugget from a story about John Popper of Blues Traveler's bizarre fight with a twitter troll:

In 2014, Katie Notopoulous, a writer at BuzzFeed, tweeted about an anecdote from Blues Traveler’s Behind the Music episode, which held that Popper was at one point so obese that he became exhausted while masturbating.

These guys' whole thing could go here, but the 3rd of the 4 grafs is the cream of it, emphasis mine:

on Bandcamp, they wrote:Frontman Moses Brown’s lyrics remain deeply personal, but rather than diving into introspection and plucking out intimate details about his life, he attempts to dismantle systems of patriarchal thought and power. Brown investigates national insecurities and American socialization failures through the lens of his personal experiences in both public school and art schools.

The only News member on that record is the piano player.

No word on how the tour ended up.

This observation gave me pause.

In 2003, after recovering from an arm injury that threatened to end his career, Megadeth's Dave Mustaine became a born again Christian. Minor controversy was sparked by Mustaine's announcement that Megadeth would not play certain songs live due to his new identification as a Christian. In May 2005, Mustaine allegedly threatened to cancel shows in Greece and Israel with extreme metal bands Rotting Christ and Dissection due to the bands' anti-Christian beliefs. This caused the two bands to cancel appearances.

Inspired by recent revelations from Quincy Jones:

Over the years, Paul Allen has been privileged to play and jam alongside a Who's Who of rock and blues royalty, encompassing the likes of Mick Jagger, Buddy Guy, Carlos Santana, Bono and the Edge, Robbie Robertson, Ron Wood, Joe Walsh, Peter Gabriel, Chrissie Hynde, Dave Grohl, Cyndi Lauper, Jon Bon Jovi, Axl Rose, Dave Stewart, Johnny Lang, Billy Cox, Cindy Blackman, Derek Trucks, Susan Tedeschi, Vernon Reid, The Blues Brothers, Spinal Tap, and many others. "For someone like me," he wrote, "who tilts toward the analytical, jamming taps into my creative, intuitive, more emotional side."

A few of these all-star jams have included the House of Blues grand openings in Las Vegas, Dallas and Atlantic City; Mick Jagger's 56th birthday celebration in 1999; and EMP Awards galas honoring Billy Cox, Buddy Guy, Robbie Robertson, and Carlos Santana.

"I'm still moved by the power of live music," Paul Allen summed up in his book, "and I seek it out every chance I get."

While expressing that he is not continuously inspired, Vai uses a concept he calls "The Ultra Zone". When inside this un-critical frame of mind, Vai is able to achieve inspiration in the form of musical ideas (often in the forms of melody or rhythm). For these moments of inspiration, Vai created what he calls the "Infinity Shelf", a drive of thousands of snippets of song ideas that he has collected over his entire career. These esoteric principles are taught by Vai during his Alien Guitar Secrets master classes, among a host of other information.

W.A.S.P.
Chris Holmes left the band in August 1989, stating that he wanted to "have fun, you know". Lawless responded with a caustic remark about the fact that "some guys want to stay home and wear aprons", hinting at the nature of Chris Holmes' relationship with his new wife Lita Ford.
The band effectively disbanded a few months later with Blackie Lawless embarking on a short lived solo career. Lawless was originally slated to play the T-1000 terminator in the movie Terminator 2: Judgment Day, but was later replaced by Robert Patrick after Arnold Schwarzenegger deemed Lawless "too tall"(1.93m).
