Of course I know a lot of their music, and have heard a few albums, but I'd really like someone to compile a single disc best of for me to enjoy. Any takers?

big_dave knows the best AC/DC song!

I'll do Anton Webern. What is the best way to compile/upload it?

Varese don't need a mixtape. All his stuff fits on 1 a CD and a half. Get the Sony/Boulez ones.

Whatever is easiest for you, I guess.

I know it's not a lot of stuff, but I was hoping to cut to the chase, and in a good listening order.

Is it possible to do a selection that's around 40 min? Either way, thanks!

How do you feel about vocal works? Should I stick to instrumental pieces?

I actually find those harder to get into (vocal works), but whatever makes a good selection would be cool.

BUMP. This is a good idea.

I haven't heard that much CCR, Thin Lizzy or ZZ Top past the 'hits' (yeah I know, for shame), though I have enjoyed everything I've heard by all 3 so far. If anyone would be willing to do one of these for any of those bands that would be awesome.

No one ever did N Young.

Could someone do that? I only have the Dead Man soundtrack and only know about 4 of his other songs.

(I know, I know, that's why I'm asking.)

It's been 3 or 7 years since somebody asked for a Sun Ra mix, but better late than never?

Also this mix doesn't exactly fit the criteria because it's more specifically a mix featuring Sun Ra's longtime tenor saxophonist John Gilmore. Which is why there are a few non-Sun Ra tracks. And it's longer than 80 minutes. If you want an actual CD-R, PM me and I'll figure it out. If you want a mix focusing on Sun Ra's synth playing, or his piano playing, or Marshall Allen, or Danny Davis, or Pat Patrick, or only songs with vocals; let me know.

I could do a Neil Young & Crazy Horse mix, but it'd probably wind up being almost the same as the May tribute series playlist.

Thirty pages and no one's said Slint, Rapeman or Scratch Acid? Admittedly FM Germ War gave us Minor Threat in 2010, which is the best one possible, I suppose.

The entire released discography of each of those bands is less than 80 minutes.

If you don't have the patience to listen to Two Nuns and a Pack Mule and Budd at least once, why would anyone want to take the time to post an .rar of 1/2 the songs from each for you?
