Jim! You are a beautiful human being!

I owe you video, Steve V. too, but I am a bit of a slacker (not really, just busy as fuck)

You have created a beautiful thing.

Do I need to sign up to add a band? Noticed Waxeater and Post Honeymoon are missing, and they both played the 2010 summer BBQ.

There are no posts about either of them yet.

Think of the site like a file cabinet. The bands are the folders, and the posts of video, audio, pics, stories, etc are the things inside the folder. The folders get created automatically if there is a post about them.

So, to longwindedly answer your question, yes. You could sign up, write about Post Honeymoon's latest album and link their bandcamp, or post some videos of Waxeater, write a review of the Pink City album, etc... Then they will be added automatically.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone. It wasn't that difficult. The hard part is going to be keeping it going.

I'll post more later, I have a practice now.

I know that this is not possible but, Holy Cow, it would have been awesome to have the transcripts of your Twitter wall from PRFNYCBBQ in one gigantic post.

This can happen.

Hey folks!

got some bios up for a trio of our illustrious photographers:
http://www.prfbbq.com/tag/chris-hall
http://www.prfbbq.com/tag/jodi-shapiro
http://www.prfbbq.com/tag/mr-king

We're still looking for writing contributions, so if you have any ideas, please fire them over to Mr. Jim 'Jam' Birch through the "Writers Wanted" tab. Dig around. see what hasn't been written up and dazzle us.

by the way, Jim and Matt have crossed 1,300 videos on the caffeinated recordings youtube channel. respect. also, disbelief. salut.

tip top,

Faiz

Are there any plans for a US-based PRF BBQ in 2012?

Sorry, I've been a bit out of the board loop for a while, so if there's already a twenty-page thread about it please humour me and point to it.

no word just yet from any of the crew. last time, we were talking about just doing one in the Summer again, but I'm not the final decider on those things.

I had some ideas about a south side summer BBQ. I am in no place to be a prime mover, but once we get moving I can facilitate like a bitch.

When I say "ideas," I mean like serious, concrete, eminently doable ideas.

Also, fucking Caffeinated. Whew.
Prime numbers and tonal clusters with Radiant Republic.

Bass in the Heavy Bombers We're on the PRF Singles Comp Q1.

Sax with Begin By Gathering Supplies.

Terrible News.
