Another one from Union Wireless I've uploaded, I knew not them from before, now I'm loving the Saturn ascension album, thanks to my friend Nacho who has the original release. The track has some lovely inspiration from 70's krautrock, like the voice and the drums motorik beat:

Glad you like the Union Wireless. That's on clear vinyl if I remember correctly.

Vocals on that track remind me of another obscure semi-shoegazey band. From Australia this time.

Any band named after a Swervedriver b-side has my attention. Supernoisy and cathartic.

I just discovered this blistering shoegaze-noisepop-rock-surf shit from Toronto and it's making me excited that there are still bands willing to express sincerity and passion into the genre.

Played a show with these guys last night. Picked their Distressor LP up. Very nice people, great band. The singer's a total babe.

Those Nor Cal kids and their marijuana superiority!

This is a really good record to burn to.

My bandmate Dave also plays in Cult Of Dom Keller:

They're over in the US at the end of April for Austin Psychfest and a tour and have an LP out on Reverberation Society too. For fans of early Telescopes, Stooges, BJM, Verve , Doors, etc.

The Cherry Wave - Pure Burst

Out of Glasgow. The entire release, Shimaru, is wonderful, but the closing track hits me in every way a boy can be hit by sound: layers, upon layers of grit, filth, distortion, and a soaring melody. Not a big fan of the name of the band I must admit.

Blankenberge - Falling Stars

Out of St. Petersburg. The entire release, Radiogaze is dazzling. It's a bit more airy/ethereal than most of the submissions in this thread, but being that this is the only proper shoegaze/noisepop thread on the forum you will please mind the freedom I've taken with this declaration. This here song is is pretty heavy and towering though.

Also giving major props to Major Games. Almost forgot about that one.

If that counts, I'm going to suggest a generous helping of Screaming Trees. :D

Ha. I personally wouldn't call it shoegazey, but I cannot recommend Even If and Especially When enough. I really love that record.

I wouldn't call them shoegazey at all, I was making a joke about the fact that it's every bit as shoegazey as 50 cent.
