Followed her on twitter for a while out of curiosity. She posted pictures of her tits so often it became surprisingly dull. It's like hey, tits on Twitter and I'm not even raising an eyebrow. Kind of impressive, really.
I'm not a fan, though I did buy that ukulele record for shits and giggles. Not horrible, and the girlfriend digs her stuff.
What I'm trying to get across here is I don't hate her music, don't have any personal antipathy for her and consider her "freeness" a non-issue. But she asked for $100,000 to fund a tour, raised a million-plus, and managed to shit the accounting bed enough that now she "can't afford" to pay a backing band and is training up fans to work on spec. I think it's worth commenting on, what with the Kickstarter thing being the Wave of the Future and all that.
