Stereo Times reviewer holding my $80k cables for ransom

Postby AudioTruth on Mon Nov 05, 2012 12:03 pm

He is a reviewer for Stereo Times Magazine. I sent him many expensive power cables so he could review them. They took half a year to build, and also cost me $100 to ship them from Sweden to USA, they are very heavy, approx 20 lbs. I sent everything to him for free, he has not paid anything.

After two months he still refuses to send them back if I don't pay hundreds of dollars to him, claiming his old tubes died from my cable. Everyone I asked is saying it's not possible and he's trying to scam me.
I need someone who can pick-up these cables at Overland Park, KS 66085.

Why did you make cables that would blow up his amp?

...wait... you want someone to go to his house and shake him down for your ripoff cords?

You're insane.

Sure, I'll go down there and get them back for you. I will need you to front me $30k for a car that I will use to drive from Chicago to Overland Park, KS, plus the cost of shipping the cables to you. I will get the cables and send them to you. Then I will sell the car and give you back the money that I receive from the sale of the car.

Please PM me your bank account info.

Whoa wait, what am I thinking? Gas is expensive! Also, the SUV I buy will NOT be very efficient. I will need approximately $500 for gas to complete this transaction for you.

Awaiting your PM.

What did you make these cables out of that would put their value at 80 grand?

Good point, maybe I will need to get a bigger SUV. I can only get a compact/crossover SUV for $30k. Let's bump it up to more like $45k.

With the street value of a Lexus at around 40 Gs, I'd have to say two Lexi.

You're not seriously considering _driving_ that shit around. You're going to need a learjet.

I'm in desperate need of a pro-grade ethernet cable. I can only go up to $3,000 per LF. Does anyone have a pro-grade ethernet cable they will sell me for $3,000 per LF?

I think that's why I keep getting bad gateways here.

Well I already own the lear jet and was going to include all costs of operating it for shipping. Hadn't broken that down yet because I need more info about the cables and where they will be shipped to.

I will need some way to get the cables over the hangar where I keep the lear jet, though, so I still need the SUV. Luckily the lear jet is also in Overland Park, KS. Otherwise we'd be talking another $200 or so on gas to get them back to Chicago, what with the added weight in the SUV.

Hoo boy, don't even get me started. I can't wait until we get Romney in office and he does something about that. He knows what to do, has a plan about it.

No one is factoring in the cost of the two LARGE friends you are going to need a) to repossess the cables from this dude's house and b) to act as armed guard as you transport them back to Illinois. Friends like that do not come cheap!

All you need to do is call up either the one man gang or Abdullah the butcher. I'm sure they could use the work.
