Gonna give it a first listen when I go pick up the kid from dance camp. Alto! is car music, in my world.

ALTO has closed up shop. Thanks to everyone on this forum who listened and/or helped us out in some way.

I particularly want to thank Conan and Ben Abraham for having us on 2 West Coast PRF BBQs, and Jonah and everyone else involved with the 2016 Chicago BBQ for having us there.

Maybe you've stopped playing, but I haven't stopped listening. Or wearing that hideous blue t-shirt.

Thanks for the fun.

I am doing a West Coast tour next month with the Iranian-American santur player/drummer Sahba Sizdhakhani.

Initially I had conceived of the tour as us playing individual solo sets, but now the tour is going to be a collaborative band consisting of the 2 of us and called JOMJOMEH (Persian - "skull")

-----------------------------------------------------

March 15th - Los Angeles - the wulf @Coaxial - with Erin Demastes

March 16th - Yucca Valley - Yucca Valley Material Lab with Kid 606

March 17th - Ojai - Greater Goods

March 18th - Oakland - Studio Grand - with Kevin Corcoran/Jacob Felix Heule percussion duo

March 19th - Corvallis - Vallis Labs

March 20th - Olympia - Octapas Cafe - with Arrington de Dionyso

March 21st - Portland - Turn Turn Turn - with Multiverse Ensemble

March 22nd - Sacramento - Gold Lion Arts - with Sunwatchers, San Kazagascar

March 23rd - Oakland - Land and Sea - with Sophia Shen, Saariselka (this is Chuck Johnson's new band, for any CJ fans out there)

Believe it or not, I’ve played Medford twice.
There is a good venue there, the guy that runs it is a total rockist though.

Probably not the best place for ALTO!

Nice! I'll mark the calendar for the Acme records show. That place is awesome.
Also: Dubuque with Lung is great, we're playing with them a few days later in Madison and Milwaukee. Love that band.
