What if we can get Greenlight The Bombers to re-unite? Can they play?

Green light the Bombers are absolutely welcome. Fuck! That would be amazing.
That would be seven shades of yes.
I talked to Todd a year ago, anybody spoke to him since?
He'd probably be the wild card.

I can certainly get some growlers from there. I live in Santa Rosa. Kegs could be difficult...might have to call in some favors. Either way I am willing to try and help.

If we do it at with Art Beat they make their own wine there, and are usually receptive to beer situations. For most of their shows they actually get a permit and stuff, even when it's a total money loser like Victory and Associates or Animal Lover or something.

I'm sure we could pull it off, and there are enough kick ass local breweries and this is with enough time that we could for sure do something.

Food situation is kind of a blank canvas. I got a great BBQ guy (Bill the Grill, who plays in the excellent Songs for Snakes) who would probably down to be the master of ceremonies for this thing. He did so for a bunch of outdoor events that I threw years ago and if anything has only gotten better. I know a few food truck people too that would almost certainly be down to park on 25th st. (assuming that's legal? I know nothing about that sort of thing).

There's no kitchen there, but 25th st collective is awesome enough that we could probably temporarily move some stuff in, as long as we marched to their drummer schedule wise.

I think doing it there for the weekend and then like: Hemlock on the friday, which has a built in bar would rule.

I'm swinging by this weekend to gauge interest.

Alright! This thing is a thing.
Ben and I need to meet up with them to discuss particulars and what not.
But at this point we have the 25th st. Collective for this event.

If you are wondering if this is a thing that will happen.
It is.

If you are wondering if it is going to be awesome, it will be.
We'll need to put some money down, which means I'll get together a presale situation.
That is after we flesh out a final date.

Saturday and Sunday will be at Artbeat/25th st. Collective in Oakland. All ages.
Friday (and potentially Thursday depending on interest?!?)
Will be somewhere else.
Probably Hemlock, or Brick and Mortar in SF (18+ and close to BART, and bigger to avoid PRFBBQ2013 capacity problems)

The Paver
and
The Cell Phones
both expressed interest in playing this as well while we were out on tour.
Ben can you add them to the list?

BUMP

This is still very much a thing. cneutron and I are working on finding a venue for the first weekend of May. New Parish and the Oakland Metro are on the shortlist for the weekend Oakland venues and the Friday show might be at Hemlock in SF. I'll update again once we have something confirmed.

Hey, I'm way late to the party, and am assuming the lineup is established. But if anyone backs out, ye olde Cinder Cone from Los Angeles would love to play the event.

To all involved:
YES!
This is still happening.
I believe it's May 1st-5th (Ben correct me if i'm wrong?)
We're doing a different venue, nothing against ArtBeat... it's just becoming increasingly clear that it'll be a bit more of a hassle to do it the way we want to there and do it right.
There's a new venue in the mix and we'll update back when we have news.

It's looking like Thursday and Friday in SF
Saturday and Sunday in Oakland.

Please don't ask me about the schedule yet, we haven't even gotten there yet but soon.

HOLY. CRAP. This is going to be a good one.
Some of the tentative bands we have to play that aren't on the list are blowing my mind and they will blow your minds too.

I'll check with the FGP guys if May will work for 'em. In any case it's a two-hour trip if they can only ring around for the show, I definitely intend to be there for the whole enchilada.

Rutabega is going to have to withdraw their name from the list of interested bands. My fiance graduates on May 3rd and I'll have to be in attendance up north.
