Thundersnow 2! Is Feb 22 or so. Just FYI.

Bands driving down from the PNW might be less than happy doing the trip through Southern Oregon and Northern California in January/February. Those passes are not always so nice at that time of year.

Oh yeah, what's the schedule for the other BBQs so that we can plan accordingly?

The date was just an idea. What would be a better timeframe. Obviously I don't want to have conflicts or make getting to the Bay difficult.

Any of my bands would be into playing this thing.

What would be a good time for everyone to get here? April perhaps?

Yeah, didn't have the time to answer back on the other thing, but yes... totally around Thundersnow... so probably not the best idea.

Why don't we do Spring?

The absolute ideal time would be August or September here, but that won't be happening since that is like: now.

I like April.

If this was happening and wasn't in conflict with Thundersnow, Merge XXV or any potential PRF Auktoberfest event I would be there.

You are kind of zeroing on why it hasn't happened before.
Seems like there's always something.
April seems to be surprising clear though. And Spring in the bay is pretty awesome, even if it isn't always the Spring that you picture when you picture you know... seasons.

Spring works best for me and I will definitely help out in any way I'm able. And I'll bring Ambrosia salad.

I live in Canada where we have 12 feet of snow on the ground in July. I'm sure I can handle your so-called "seasons".

So April/May works for everyone?

Likewise here. My band could possibly make the trek. I'd make it to attend if not.

I would say April. Chicago usually happens in June. Having one in May would probably prevent travelers from attending both.

We could also do late March and have PRF Spring Break!

I don't know if it's plausible, but I would LOVE to get The Rutabega out West for this.
