Songs You Mash-Up In Your Head

Postby atomjackfuser on Fri Oct 20, 2017 7:04 pm

I am totally drawing a blank right now of what two songs I realized could be made into a mash-up type video, but have your ever been driving along, riding the bus, whatever and have that moment where you go "Wow, I could totally replace the lyrics of this song with this other song." I know this kinda fits the replacement lyrics that make you laugh, but not really. Or kerble away.

**It was the lyrics of Joe McCarthy's Ghost over the Unsane song Burn**

The staff weren't giving me the things I needed to do my job effectively and give the kids their money's worth...it wasn't too hard considering the concert was only $5

Slint's Washer and Silent Lucidity by the band Queensryche.

It's exquisite.

This week I have mostly been a mashing-up Bohemian Like You by The Dandy Warhols and There, There by Radiohead in my head. It this what is meant by having "intrusive thoughts"?

Wire's I Am The Fly and So You Wanna Be a Boxer from Bugsy Malone. They both have a descending four-note bass run; into the chorus on the former, out of the chorus on the latter. I've imagined NoMeansNo mashing these up and it would do your head in live.

I really, really, really want to record a cover of TLC's "Creep" where the chorus involves the KACHUNK from Radiohead's "Creep."

Hakuna my tatas

I need to find a way to make it fit into Metallica's much better song with the same title, I think.
