Can't believe they are winning this poll. Cannot.

BP

fugazi > tjl, wipers > stooges and now joy division > tbp.

Beh i don't see where is the scandal...i was surprised for the result of the Wipers...ok
but just because it's not a famous band like the Stooges...but yeah Greg Sage is god...so he can beat anyone...
and about this poll...beh i'm not shocked at all...we are talking about of two glorious bands....
ones of the best of the music history...everybody knows that

Homosexuals have balls.

Joy Division, super easy for me. I don't think there's anything weird about liking the Birthday Party more.

I don't think it's weird to like the Wipers more than the Stooges. Once you get into that territory, all bets are off.

It tells you something about a person who they pick, is all.

I've spoke about my feelings on this in another thread, but this elusive "it" is something totally arbitrary seeing as both bands had a separate aesthetic. I'm aware that it's a matter of taste but I don't see why people are always comparing each band to each other.

case in point: the jesus lizard were undeniably an AMERICAN band. This is a defining aspect of their aesthetic, and their sound, to me. I'm not saying this is the reason I prefer them, but it inevitably separates them from the birthday party in a big way.

I voted for Fugazi over TJL.

I voted for Wipers over The Stooges.

I voted Joy Division over Birthday Party.

I love all six bands mentioned and none was a particularly easy choice but I stand by my decisions. I just love these bands more.

The Birthday Party
I am a weird recluse only here for sex.

PRF Short Fiction Challenge

The staff weren't giving me the things I needed to do my job effectively and give the kids their money's worth...it wasn't too hard considering the concert was only $5

The Birthday Party for miles. Joy Division was boring as fuck. TBP was a lot more intense than JD and, judging for what I've seen, their shows were way more exciting.

And anyway JD never had a bass player with a see-through shirt, big moustache and cowboy hat. Just that would beat almost every band.

Homosexuals have balls.

Also, some guys listen to "bands with balls" exclusively because they feel a little insecure about their own masculinity.
Its the way they found to compensate for that

Oh yeah, the Smiths attracted a bunch that were totally confident in their masculinity.
