If by 'foolishness' you mean 'people voting for AC/DC", then yes, I see your point. Motorhead.

But no, it was hard. I own more albums by AC/DC, but with Motorhead I stand.

It's weird, because while all my rational faculties work towards the Aussies here, when I first saw this thread show up this morning I felt the ping of Motorhead.

I'm all for instincts, yo. Motorhead.

AC/DC is the superior band, but "No Sleep 'til Hammersmith" is better than any single AC/DC record.

Are we talking about Powerage/If You Want Blood/Highway to Hell-era AC/DC, or the-last-twenty-years laugh riot that this band has become?

Anyway, hardly matters -- Motorhead is better either way.

i was obsessed with this song a few months back. geek note: the girlschool's bassist is rockin' a kramer DMZ.

anyways, a tough call, the ac/dc would only excite the retards in the bar, whereas the right motorhead would have 'em payin' the tabs and splittin'. that's a big plus for me.

though, in the car, the motorhead albums get boring before the ac/dc ones. i need to pick up "no sleep 'til hammersmith" though, but i really don't need that speedin' ticket.

anyways, for the bar situation motorhead takes it. though i like more ac/dc songs. only early ones though. i think "back in black" is a turd. fuck that new guy.

If the annoying blonde woman gets excited about AC/DC in the bar, I'm right there with her...unless she's an annoying Republican.

Powerage and Back in Black tower above all comers. AC/DC wins in a heartbeat.

AC/DC. Tough thunderdome, but Powerage does it for me.

Motorhead doesn't have a hot-shit guitarist like Angus, who is brilliant.

Motorhead is truly a dull band who's hype exceeds any of their plodding output.

???

Motorhead has had some pretty good ones. And Fast Eddie's work has definitely had an influence on rock/metal. Angus hasn't done anything different since he was about 16 years old. And why do you think Motorhead is dull ? They play rock very well and sound like themselves. Have you ever seen them live ? And "Hype" ? From who ? From where ? People just saying they like Motorhead doesn't count as hype. A guy walking down the street wearing a Motorhead t-shirt probably isn't hyping them. He just digs them, that's all. If you want to see hype, look at all the fuss surrounding the new AC/DC.

You like Motorhead, fine. Yes, I've seen Motorhead. Dull. People like the idea of Motorhead more than the band.

I prefer AC/DC.
