Kyle Spence? Lacking umph?

Sir.

You must have "Sponzo" confused with some other drummer.

The man oozes umph.

I'm itching to get the new record but I'm literally beyond broke.

I may just have to download this one for the time being.

I've always felt like he was right on point in most things, but that he just doesn't hit hard enough or hits with too much touch to really push Harvey Milk. Maybe I'm wrong...it's been a long time since I've seen him play.

The band killed it last night. Really tight performance. There were a few technical snafus here and there but of the three shows I've seen them do with Joe Preston, this one was by far the best. Anyone seeing them on their upcoming tour should be in for a treat.

What sort of material is it that's being played? I haven't managed to get the new one yet, but i am absolutely battering 'Special Wishes' at the moment. What a record.

Friday they're playing the KF (Manhattan) but I kinda want to see them Monday at Europa (Brooklyn)

Europa is becoming the best place to see "metal" in NYC.

A little bit of everything. They played a few songs off the new record, a few off The Pleaser and two or three of the older ones. Off Special Wishes they did "Crush Them All", "War" and they closed the set with "I've Got A Love," a concert staple ever since they reformed.

I got text messages from two friends who separately attended last night's show. Both messages conveyed that the current Harvey Milk lineup is unbelievable.

You lucky souls who get to check out this tour. I can only hope that they schedule some West Coast dates later in the year. Joe Preston has a standing invitation to stay at my house anytime so maybe that will help the cause. If they are coming to your town, go see them for those of us who can't make it.

The new album is very, very good.

Question for those of you who've seen the tour so far: do they have any copies of Chunklet's "The Pleaser" reissue with them at the merch table?

Yes, they did. I want to say they were charging $25 for the 2XLP but I can't remember. I only had $10 extra on me so I spent it on beer.
