Listen to any of the frippertronics records. Two r2r decks and a guitar. I challenge you to not accidentally strangle yourself with that set-up.

Let The Power Fall is really an amazing lp.

Check it. Nice frippertronics site.

I also think the fact that a spambot picked a King Crimson thread to spam porn on is inspired.

Assuming mega stardom for Faiz Zeppelin, I forsee a Faiz Crimson on the distant horizon.

I find it hilarious when I ask Huge Floyd fans if they like KC. They have no idea who I am talking about.

I wont even bother asking if they like CAN, or magma or zao, or eloy.

King crimson is the fucking shit. I will admit some of the later albums were not so great BUT, you need to check out the power to believe. it came out in 2003. I think it's awesome.

I saw them with tool in seattle. AMAZING!!

The holy trilogy of Larks' Tongues, Starless and Bible Black and Red is by far my favorite Crimson, although The Power to Believe and The ConstruKction of Light are pretty damned good also.

I never saw the Red era stuff with Bill's percussion store and little kit. Now I'm on a hunt...

That is neeto - !

So strange to hear Boz sing Pictures Of A City. That version of the band is underrated, even if they did start Foreigner and Bad Company.

Hmm...so...I know "21st Century Schizoid Man." I think it's pretty good. I've avoided looking into KC because I'm picky about prog rock and assumed I wouldn't like them, even though I love Fripp's playing on other people's records.

BUT, I just got volume 3 of the Old Grey Whistle Test DVD, and it has them doing "Frame by Frame." It's awesome. I didn't know Adrian Belew was in this band, but he's another guy I like to hear on other people's records.

Anyway, I'm really into this "Frame by Frame." Is Discipline a good record? Is the one after it with the music note on it any good?

PRF, let me know!
