Oh man, I'd love to hear a reading series based on various John Kass articles.

Matt and his audio situation will never change. He did the last subscriber show "sitting on a literal bag of garbage" which made audible crinkling noises throughout. It's his praxis.

Christman continues to provide most of the highlights for this podcast imho.

I'm just glad they figured out how to turn down his mic levels. I listened to some early episodes and any time he spoke it was so jarring because he's literally yelling into the mic while the other people are speaking in mild, measured tones. Yes, some form of absorbing medium on the walls would be nice.

I haven't set myself up with the Chapo Patreon yet (no real reason), but in lieu of that I might mail Matt an SM58 and one of those Shure X2U things, call it even.

I'm totally confused as to why this episode isn't available on the Patreon RSS feed. I think I'm missing something.

You have no idea how close I was to pulling the trigger on that, yesterday. Then I looked at the release date and I thought, "Fuck, I won't even be in this state by then." (Or that's the plan, anyway.)
I've come around to Virgil in the last ten or so episodes. His solo episode interviewing Kaniela Ing is fantastic, a must-listen.

Incel or vocel Greywolf? It’s an important distinction.

I don't know. I paid $5. I need podcasts to get me through work. Some kind of wage-cuck, I suppose.

One of us! One of us!

The recent and free (!) episode with Dr. Richard Wolff is most excellent. Ninety percent of the discussion is Wolff lecturing. Great stuff.

I'm glad I decided to give Chapo a few chances. At first I hated it, it just seemed like an echo chamber of bros all bro'ing out at each others' stupid ideas of jokes. One of the ones was the interview with pisspiggrandpa and they were all getting off on bombs and weapons and stuff. Ugh.

But I kept listening and as I got to know all the folks I started enjoying it a lot more. There was a bit more depth than I originally picked up on, and I think the episodes I first listened to weren't great to start on (Amber and Virgil weren't on these, and I think they balance out the tone of the show in a really good way).

Anyway, that's my dumb experience with this show. Now I listen to every episode and subscribe to the Grey Wolf feed. Just the right balance of comedic jackoffery interspersed with some good inspiration and information.
