I'm really looking forward to whatever this Metal Circus-related release is going to be.

Have no idea why anyone would think the SST catalog needs remastering. A better CD/digital transfer? Fuck yeah.

Would say the Warner Brothers stuff is total shitty 80's production style. Brings down decent material and decimates the so so stuff.

That would amount to a remaster.

Nothing from Metal Circus was added here so label me curious. (Had it / Sold it / found the mp3)

I do remember two (?) tracks that were cut being available in a bootleg sort of fashion at some point. Kind of think it was Dozen Beats Eleven and something else but it's been a while...

SST won't give up the tapes for Zen Arcade.

Cmon, Greg. How else will we hear the 4 record set 45 rpm version?

It's not in the site navigation, but if you do a search you can also come up with the other 2 discs streaming.

I remixed the 8-track recordings from the "In A Free Land" single, which includes 2 unheard recordings from that session of songs that later appeared on Everything Falls Apart. And I also "mixed" some earlier 4-track recordings.

This makes me feel inclined to wonder if Greg Ginn hasn't just lost them. I did read that that happened with a few of the Meat Puppets' master tapes.
