Curb Yr. Enthusiasm is SO not crap.

i hate TV with a passion and yet i watched these DVDs obsessively.

some of those episodes (like "The Wire" or the one with the Benadryl brownies, or the one where he loses the plane tickets in that sportcoat) are fucking GENIUS.

laughed my ass off over and over...

Best show I've seen in fucking ages. I've heard a rumour that Larry dies in the 50th episode, the final episode of the 5th series - I will cry.

my favorite show on television along with arrested development. larry david is a comedic genius. love this show.

the skiing episode has been my favorite of 5.

'someone's going to have to jump'

"oh stop it..."

'one of us has to jump, someone has to jump.. you're gonna have to jump!'

*larry looks down at the ground on the chairlift.

What are you FUCKING NUTS!

Whoever voted crap is cruisin' for a bruisin'. This is the funniest show I've ever seen. That's right, funnier than The Simpson and The Office.

i just saw that episode last week. it's kinda weird actually, but has a lot of hilariously cheap special effects. that's all i'll say.

this show is very not crap.

I love this show.

I love how Larry tries to do the right thing, but just cannot. He's like Charlie Brown and the football. He can't win.

The scene I actually had to look away from was when he forgets his lines during the performance of 'The Producers' it was like watching some crippled guy trying to walk up some stairs 'come on man, you can do it please don't fall'

Yes, but at the same time he has already "won." He's extremely wealthy, has a beautiful wife, lots of friends, etc. Yet the daily problems of life make it seem like he "just can't win."

Hard to pick a favorite scene, but...in the episode "The Doll," where Larry is in the women's bathroom with the bottled water stuck down his pants and the girl runs out screaming "Mommy, Mommy, that bald man's in the bathroom, and there's something hard in his pants," ending with the camera on Larry's horrified face as he runs for the bathroom window to escape.

Yeah, Larry's elite status in life allows him the ability to indulge his neuroses, and gives him the freedom to amuse himself by pushing people and situations to their limits.

But his truly charming sense of self-awareness is what puts him over. Lord help him Jesus, he knows what he is.
