They kinda had a pretty consistent format, but it worked very well, and certainly was a nice antithesis to the 90s moodiness that prevailed.

Kim had earbuds in the scene and that song was on. My wife asked "What song is that?"...I said "I think it's Stereolab..."..I was right! Not Crap, I only have a few of the older lp's, I should investigate the newer recordings.

Still in the early rehearsal stages, but I just joined a Stereolab tribute band that will put on at least one show this winter. I've been itching to play some steadier basslines and these songs are just delicious. We're starting with French Disko, Pack Yr Romantic Mind, Metronomic Underground and Noise Of Carpet, probably gonna stick to the ETK and earlier stuff while we get this underway.

NOT CRAP!

Tempter is one of my very favorite tracks. Best use of Farfisa to date!

Re-posting the internet, but I'm pretty fucking pumped about this:

Trying to decide how many times and places I'm going to see them.

Distinct possibility!

I was shocked there wasn't a Chicago date. Maybe they're doing Pitchfork (PASS) or Riot Fest?

I'm totally going to the Santa Fe show. That venue is tiny! 99% positive Minneapolis will happen, and Milwaukee is right there, so why not? I'm 4 hours from Dallas, too, so...

I did not expect to spend 2019 following Stereolab around, but here we are.

Just bought Milwaukee tickets for a very un-Marxist $46 each after all the fees.

Ugh. I want to go. I do not want to pay $46. Assuming it has to be Sadier and Gane, but is it Andy Ramsay and Simon Johns too?

Minneapolis tickets purchased. Can't make Milwaukee, sorry! Santa Fe is on a Tuesday so that's out. I'll likely end up in Dallas.

36.94 for the pre-sale. It's gonna be at Mohawk, which I'm not totally psyched for as a venue for this show. Paper Tiger in San Antonio was tempting.
