Get well soon, Tony.

Seriously, I searched! I searched long and hard (heh heh) and could not find this topic! So, anyway, here goes:

One of the dozen or so most influential records ever made.

Sabbath Bloody Sabbath.

Not by a mile but, it's my favorite.

Master of Reality is probably the best, but Vol 4 is my favorite

I mean, come on.

Paranoid was one of the first records I ever bought. I still love it more than the others, even though it probably isn't the best.

The weird, sludgy 2nd half of the album held my 7th grade attentions a whole lot.

Why did you leave off Never Say Die and Technical Ecstasy? There are people who like those albums, you know. John George Peppers claims them to be his favorite Sabbath albums, he seriously does. Always talking them up. 'Dude go back and listen to 'Johnny Blade' it's a fucking awesome song!' and all that. 'Dude we should do a cover of 'Swinging the chain''

Also, 'Sabotage' never gets enough credit, that album is fantastic.

That is a fact. That record is a step away from anything safe. So many spacey/weirdo moments.

Vol. 4 is my favorite but I like all of the albums listed in this poll and honestly have no problem with Technical Ecstasy and Never Say Die. Not a lot of bands put out 10 albums that I own and like.

Sad as it may make you, I think there are probably more people who like the Dio albums than those two. With only 10 options for the poll, well... I guess I could have left off the other options.

Vol. 4 for me. Love it stem to stern. "Supernaut" is my favorite Sabbath song, and for fuck's sake, I even like "Changes."

No, wait.

This is hard, I'll get back to you tomorrow.

Probably going to be fucking Paranoid, though.

Dude, ok, technical ecstasy is absolute shit, nobody would ever vote for that, but Never Say Die deserves a place up there, change the nitwit one to Never say die, for me, please

Vol. 4, but a tough call.

Master of Reality and Black Sabbath are both a very close second.

And really, I fucking love every album listed as a poll option.

The debut without a doubt. Groundbreaking shit and lacking any fruity acoustic guitar wankery that slightly marred all subsequent albums. Although I do love the first six records for the most part especially utilizing the track skip button.
A wise friend who is no longer of this Earth once told me that Technical Ecstasy would have been the best ABBA album ever, but it was by Black Sabbath so it really sucked.

Three way tie between Black Sabbath, Master of Reality, and Vol. 4. I need to get more of the vinyl reissues that have been recently put out.

I improved forum member raygun's life immeasurably by deleting Changes from his hard drive.

As much as I like other albums, this one was a 'game-changer' and by far means the most to me.

It changes all the time. Probably SBS at the moment. When I listen to Sabbath I usually just put the first 6 on random.
