We use this Ampex ATR-102 for 1/4” and 1/2” formats up to 4 tracks. It covers these formats:

• 1/4” mono

• 1/4” stereo

• 1/4” quarter-track

• 1/4” 4-track

• 1/2” stereo

• 1/2” 3-track

• 1/2” 4-track

These machines allow for quick change of formats by changing the heads and rollers (and removing or replacing spacers under the NAB hub clamps).

This machine was fully rebuilt by ATR Services. Heads have been relapped as needed by JRF Magnetics.
