Jon San Paolo
Jon has made both Chicago and Electrical Audio his home for over 15 years, where he works as both an audio engineer and the studio’s building manager. He’s been in media production since the mid-90’s, beginning with radio and television in his hometown of Springfield, Missouri.
A musician, himself, Jon loves working with artists to achieve high-quality recordings of their work. While he loves working on tape, he is happy to translate his workflow into digital sessions, too. Comfortable around any large-format console, Jon has a very special connection to Electrical’s Neotek collection, as he spent many years building and testing Neotek consoles.
His formal education includes both a BA in Broadcasting from Drury University and also graduated from the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences.
