Good announcer mic, often used on bass guitar, bass drum, vocal. One of ours is labeled a PL-20, which is the RE-20 with a matte finish.
Uses EV’s “Variable D” venting scheme to dramatically reduce proximity effect (low-end exaggeration encountered when placing a directional mic near a source).
